Avatar problems

When I create an ordered list, if it does not follow a long paragraph beforehand, the list disappears behind my avatar. I think the same thing happens with bullets, as well.

Is this a problem which the tech-masters can fix or upon which they can provide guidance?

Example:

Here's the first
Here's the second
Here's the third
Here's the fourth
Here's the fifth
Here's the sixth
And here's the seventh

Clarification on Baptism

I would like some clarification regarding who can facilitate Baptism? I understand both the person being Baptized as well and the person performing the Baptism must be sincere in their desire to receive this wonderful sacrament. And ideally a priest or deacon should Baptize. I also understand the Catholic Church accepts Baptisms from other Christian faiths as valid. To me this means, Baptism is about being a member of the God's family, not so much a specific christian faith. Here's my dilema. New Forum - Anything Goes

I know it would be a dicey thing but could we have an "Anything Goes" forum?

I have an irrepressible urge to post a "I'm holier than thou, nyenh nyenh nyennyennnyenh!" topic

Where do we, as individuals, get off constantly replying to other rountablers' posts that this or that statement isn't as "religious" or "as Christ-like" or what ever, than this that or the other favorite mantra of the elite critics?

For pity's sake, aren't we all pilgrims?

But now I'm doing it myself too...

Is it all right to do it with generalities, like this?

Is there anyway that we can have a roster of members that we at least know a bit about each other? There are new members by the day, and I really do't 'know' who I am exchanging with. Most of us are unlikely to meet any of these worthy fellow souls, so at least give us a chance to fill each other in with some basics:

The data name server in this locale couldn't even resolve google.com!

I've just signed up for the Catholic exchange website but I seem to be having trouble with my username.

The username that I signed up with was Delicate Princess but I have to sign in with NCcqsvKtThDzD... when I tried to sign in using Delicate Princess, I kept getting error messages.

Is this supposed to be like this?

Is there any way to force the link anchor to open a whole another window to leave the CE window equally available and integrally independent?

It would be a touch better to open a new tab in the existing Internet window. Is that even possible?

As well, if one such dolt (c'est moi? +-\) closes the window, he does not close the CE window with it.

After all, if we commentators are confused, how illustrious can our comments be?

I must confess that sometimes I wish that article authors would make a 'week-later' pass at our comments and clarify confusion and misinterpretations - and/or correct their own text that caused the misinterpretations.

Maybe, they will even take up argu- uh - I mean debates inspired by comments.

How about that, editors? Authors?
