Avatar problems

When I create an ordered list, if it does not follow a long paragraph beforehand, the list disappears behind my avatar. I think the same thing happens with bullets, as well.
Is this a problem which the tech-masters can fix or upon which they can provide guidance?
Example:
- Here's the first
- Here's the second
- Here's the third
- Here's the fourth
- Here's the fifth
- Here's the sixth
- And here's the seventh

Ha! I hadn't seen that one yet.
I do think that a complete redesign is underway, so hopefully that will disappear. I have no idea if the techies actually watch this forum section anymore, given they are working on the new one?
