God loves you .

No matter the issue, it can always find its way into 'political' fora, nowadays.

“Global warming is already disrupting people's lives.” This from the website http://www.fightglobalwarming.com/ from out of something called Environmental Defense and the AD Council. Go to ‘about us’ to find among their accomplishments the ‘eradication of DDT’ which is not merely a scientific farce but a truly-global tragedy of killing a million or more, mostly children, around the world due to malaria-carrying insects who are no longer 'eradicated'.

I also love their use of children, a la AARP, in ads to promote their agenda. I want to know just what all they have given for education and information to these kids they use; any balance to it, scientifically? And, if teaching a child one’s faith could be interpreted as abuse, what is handing out one-sided, ideologized, agenda-driven, often fully bogus science? Or, given ideology and agenda, couldn’t that qualify as ‘abuse by faith’, as well?

In reference to the over the topical quotation in the first sentence, all this is effectively attendant to:
“Global warming is already caused by people's lives.”
Maybe, they should have a place at their table for PETA, huh?

Well, from my reading, global and local catastrophes have had deleterious effects on life in every form since tens of millions of years before humanity had any significant presence.

Prominent scientists in all disciplines have noted that global warming was, if anything, ‘worse’ centuries ago. And, that ‘worse’ is subject to scrutiny – was wide-spread improved agricultural results ‘worse’? Evidence, now – not sweaty palms.

Every storm becomes a ‘proof’ of global warming, now. When these storms occurred in times of global cooling, what caused them? That some things are worse now, ‘explained’ by global warming with little evidence, including some drought areas, how are floods in other parts of the world explained, global-warming-wise? Evidence, now – not wet pants.

And, of global warming types whose stance is at least as alarmist as any other result, why are they unwilling to debate with fellow scientists, meteorologists, etc., who have data that contradict the global warming bogeyman scenarios? If we are handling 'worse', here, how about the fact that for much of the purportedly 'settled issues' on global warming, neither set of scientists, 'pro' and 'con', have enough realiable, evidential data to make for a viable debate?

And, of course, our governments are leaping into the fray with yet more of our money to fritter away, and energetic attention more actually required in many other areas. Then again, I have noticed that like MSM ‘journalists’, our ‘legislators’ just may be more ignorant and self-serving than I ever realized.

Yes, ‘junk science’ meets panicked absurdity all over our culture, and we get abortion in spite of real science, and ‘global warming is your fault’ from ideology instead of real science. And, of course, the 'junk' of our absurdity all about us is used to justify every interference in our lives our elected governors and unelected judges and bureaucrats can think of.

Good Lord, it is good to be in the November-to-December of my life. Just why would I want to hang around? (Okay - OKAY - the will of God . . .) Of course, maybe old-timers have been realizing this gratifying aspect of aging unto death for eons, now. Can't you imagine Job thirty seconds after death dropping his head to our Lord's shoulder, and sighing out: "Thank You, my God, that THAT'S over with."
