RE: mapping info at site

I picked my neighborhood & there was one green square displayed nearby but the address that appeared when I clicked that square was a good two miles away & not the .33 miles that was displayed.  Since there is a problem with the correlation of address with displayed map position, I can't really tell if one of the other squares is actually closer to us than it appears, unless I click each one.  Too bad I couldn't find an e-mail address to advise the operators of the error.

Please do not be decieved by this.  Many, probably most of these men are absolutely no danger to children or anyone else.  Are you aware that men who whose only "offense" was that they peed behind a tree and someone happened to see them are on these lists? Are you aware that a 17 yr. old boy who has a sexual encounter with a 15 yr. old. girl may be put on this list for life? Are you aware that many of these man have wives and  children and that recent changes in the law have forced many of them to move away from their own families?  Women are among those who have been forced to leave their own children. The sex offender laws in many states now make no distinction between a peeping Tom and a serial rapist. No distinction between youthful hijinks and child molesters. It is a travesty of justice.

RE: "travesty of justice"

One of many I believe.  However, there are factual instances where this sort of information might have averted another tragedy but either the information was not available or it wasn't known to a parent.  Balance is important on all of these things and the law is notorious for not implementing any balance.  The 3 year old who recently was put off the commercial flight is another example of how law and rules goes wrong.
