Super Bowl

The other day I had to go to see a nurse about a routine blood test.  While she was readying my finger, she asked if I had gotten a chance to see the Super Bowl.

I replied, "Is the Pope German?"

She said, "I didn't get to see it either."

She was gently corrected.

rjb, that's funny!  You could put it in the "Humor" forum.

God loves you .

I, a Chicago lad, did not see the Super Bowl.

Alas, all omens were bad, and I had not the heart. Tea leaves, goat entrails, palms of stalwart fans, wind direction, cloud formations, sightings of UFOs - all said 'the Bears are one quarterback short'.

Remember, I love you, too

Through Christ, with Christ, in Christ,
